MUSIC | On that Note with Daryll & Greg - Ep 1 featuring Aizawl's Avora Records

TNT-The Northeast Today is proud to bring you the region’s most phenomenal music show yet - ON THAT NOTE WITH DARYLL & GREG.

The show will debut on October 30 and will feature renowned musicians from across Northeast India.

The hosts, Daryll and Greg, will take viewers through a rollercoaster ride on the lives of musicians, from their humble beginnings to their mastery in the art - all within a 30-minute show.

The hosts themselves are founding members of the renowned Shillong-based blues band, Blue Temptation with extensive experience in the music industry.

The northeast region has given us many of India’s finest musicians namely Lou Majaw, Soulmate, Mangka Mayanglambam, Summersalt, Papon, Shillong Chamber Choir, Squadron, (Late) M Sailo, Sourabhee Debbarma, Riprap, Rewben Mashangva, Nambam Takar, GATC, Borkung Hrangkhawl, The Koi, Alobo Naga and Chaoba Thiyam - the list is endless.

The show aims to highlight all major events in the lives of musicians, especially as many of the region’s musicians have been able to earn their name locally, nationally and globally with minimal support.

Once again, TNT-The Northeast Today is proud to be part of such a show. To enthral you, the pilot episode will feature renowned Aizawl-based Indie rockers “Avora Records.”

Some of their hit songs include “Imperfections,” “Sunday,” “If you’re not sweating to this then honey you’re not 90’s” and others.

Founded in the year 2013, the band earned a spot in the Sennheiser Top 50 bands in 2017, also winning the Hornbill International Rock Contest in the same year.
