Tripura Left front announces candidates for ADC elections

AGARTALA:

Tripura left front chairman Bijan Dhar on Saturday, announced its candidates’ list for the upcoming Autonomous District Council (ADC) elections at Dasharath Dev Smriti Bhavan in Agartala.

The Tripura left front is comprised of the Communist Party of India (Marxist) CPI-M, Communist Party of India (CPI), Revolutionary Socialist Party (RSP) and All India Forward Bloc Summary (AIFB).

Dhar informed that, out of the total 28 ADC seats, CPI-M will contest 25 seats and the other three left parties will fight one seat each.

Tripura will head for the ADC elections on April 4.

Former Chief Executive Member (CEM) of ADC Radha Charan Debbarma is also contesting from Jirania constituency.

Meanwhile, the Left front has also introduced four female candidates to the list.
