Manipur: Security forces apprehend suspected UKLF cadre from Moreh

IMPHAL:
Troops of the Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Manipur Police, apprehended a suspected cadre of the United Kuki Liberation Front (UKLF) from Canan Veng in Moreh area on February 27.
They identified the suspected cadre as Thangminlal Mate (25), who was apprehended after security forces raided a house in Molphei village.
The security team also recovered one AK rifle, three AK rifle magazines, 184 rounds of AK rifle ammunition, one KECHADO mobile phone, one magazine pouch, and one rifle sling.
They have handed the cadre over to Moreh Police for further legal action.
