Manipur records lowest single-day COVID-19 spike

IMPHAL:

Manipur recorded its single day lowest spike of COVID-19 cases on March 1.

The COVID positive person is from Manipur's Kakching district. 

In the past 24 hours, there were no reports of any mortalities and 13 persons recovered from the virus.

The total number of active cases in the state stands at 30, while the recovery rate stands at 98.62 per cent. 

On Monday, 3,482 persons were vaccinated. The cumulative number of vaccinated persons to date stands at 52,327, including 29,760 health care workers. 

The Manipur health department has directed passengers who travelled to Manipur on Monday by aircraft 6E-6241 sitting in rows 5 to 11  and those who travelled by aircraft number 6E-2019 sitting in rows 1 to 5 to contact the Common Covid Control room number at 18003453818 or the respective DSOs for necessary surveillance.
