IIT-Guwahati, Kaziranga University sign MoU on research, entrepreneurship

GUWAHATI:

The Indian Institute of Technology, Guwahati (IIT-G) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Kaziranga University, Jorhat for closer engagement in the areas of curriculum enhancement, research and development besides improving the entrepreneurship ecosystem in the region.

As a part of the agreement, IIT-Guwahati would assist the university in setting up advanced laboratories for experimental work in various areas of engineering and science.

The MoU was signed between IIT-G director Prof T.G Sitharam, and Kaziranga University vice-chancellor Dr P.K Mishra on Thursday.

“IIT Guwahati through its highly qualified faculty and excellent research infrastructure will provide necessary support and guidance to both student entrepreneurs and aspiring investors of Kaziranga University to facilitate their growth and prosperity,” IIT-G director Sitharam said while addressing the participants during the MoU signing ceremony.
