TNT-The Great Eastern Rock CD compilation is back with bang – calling for entries now open to all bands
After the continuous success of Great Eastern Rock albums over the years one of the Northeast India highest selling magazine The Northeast Today (TNT) is gearing up to release their 7th edition of Great Eastern Rock compilation album which is to be freely distributed along with the their magazine.
Over the years TNT-The Northeast Today has continuously promoted Rock and Metal scene and this will be another platform for budding and established bands to showcase their talent throughout the region and beyond.
Bands such as Girish and the Chronicles, Northwind, Magadalene, Horjwlai, Eye2eye, Imphal Talkies, Alobo Naga, Scavengers Project, Virgin Creep have been featured over the years in the Great eastern Rock Compilation.

We have already started accepting demos for the compilation which features signed and unsigned bands across the country and outside keeping the primary focus on the Northeast Indian bands said Jutan Das, head of marketing in TNT-The Northeast Today.
Announcing the entries for the latest edition of the Great eastern rock vol 7, Editor in Chief of TNT (The Northeast Today) Pradyot Manikya said TNT-The Northeast Today always receive an overwhelming response of entries every year for their annual compilation album and this year they hope to make it even better in terms of packaging and sound quality.
He also announced that TNT-The Northeast Today was in the process of reviving the TNT Y brand which was extremely popular, we understand that the readers miss the content in TNT Y and we have re initiated plans to revive the brand, he added.
Priya Konthoujam, the Managing editor of the Magazine also added that there will be atleast 15 bands who will be showcased in the new edition of the Great eastern rock and will be distributed completely free with the Magazine. She also added that there are plans for the Magazine to give away free CDs of bands who would like to showcase their albums over the next few months.
