Army jawan with close ties to militant groups in Northeast arrested
ASSAM: In what can only be described as shocking behaviour by one who is supposed to protect the nation, an Indian Army jawan has been arrested for colluding with militant groups. The jawan has been identified as Jonesh Hojai who has been closely linked with United Liberation Front of Assam. He has also been connected to the Action Group of the Dima Halam Daogah(DHD).
He along with six militants were arrested in Cachar district on Sunday. The police is interrogating the jawan and a hunt is on to nab militants based on information received from the arrested persons.
