Tripura: Prime Minister Narendra Modi may visit state in November on CM’s invitation

Prime Minister Narendra Modi accompanied by the minister of Sport and Youth Affairs Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore is scheduled to inaugurate a three day Northeast Youth Festival (NYF) on November 15 here with a call to save youths of the region from the clutch of drug addiction.
Sports and Youth Affairs Minister Monoj Kanti Deb said here today that Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has personally met Prime Minister and invited him for the event. Despite his busy schedule it is expected that Modi will take part in the event.
Deb said thousands of youths from seven other northeastern states would attend the festival while 20,000 youths would showcase their talent in different events on national integration, cultural heritage and to make vibrant Northeast.
