Meghalaya: Over 40 children of Girls' Home in Shillong beat COVID-19

38 out of 44 children and five staff of the Girls’ Home, run by the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Assembly, had tested positive for COVID-19 on November 7.

The 43 children and staff of AW Thomas Girls’ Home at Jaiaw Lumsyntiew in Shillong, Meghalaya beat COVID-19 17 days after they tested positive for the virus.

38 out of 44 children and five staff of the Girls’ Home, run by the Khasi Jaintia Presbyterian Assembly, had tested positive for COVID-19 on November 7.

The East Khasi Hills district administration had lifted the micro-containment order on November 24 and the place was sanitised and disinfected on November 25 by the Covid Management team of Jaiaw Laitdom in collaboration with a local agency called Cleansmann and Shillong Press Club.
