CHENNAI:

After losing to Manipur in the first match, the Meghalaya Cricket team came out strongly against Mizoram at Gurunanak College Ground, Chennai.

The team scored a massive total of 230 in the full 20 overs, which is again the highest score by the team in the T20 format.

The captain Punit Bisht 146 (51), and Tiwari 53(47) were the highlights of the innings.

Bisht ensured that the team managed a decent total to defend the match which is important for the team to move forward in the tournament.

However, other batsmen from Meghalaya continued with their poor form with their scores.

For Mizoram Taruwar Kohli was the most expensive bowler having conceded 46 runs in 3 overs, followed by Varte Kima 45 runs in 4 overs.
