MIAMI:

Twenty-time Grand Slam Champion Roger Federer reportedly pulled out of the upcoming Miami Open.

Federer’s agent Tony Godsick told reporters they took the decision following scheduling reasons and fitness concerns.

The 39-year-old Swiss had recently undergone surgery to repair his right knee and currently working towards full fitness before returning to the circuit.

Federer has not played since losing in the semi-final of the Australian Open in 2020.
