Tripura | BJP executive meeting begins at Khowai district
AGARTALA | September 26, 2018 (UNI):
The crucial meeting of BJP Tripura state executive council began today at Khowai district of West Tripura to discuss issues related to organisational reorientation and enhancing the party activities at a grassroot level ahead of the upcoming general election in early next year.
Besides top leaders of the party, including the president of the state committee and Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, party's state in-charge Sunil Deodhar and BJP's secretary organization of northeast Ajay Jamwal have also taken part in the meeting.
According to BJP sources, the meeting is targeted to discuss the current political situation and to hold a brainstorming session to counter the growth of opposition parties and to formulate strategies to counter the campaign against the BJP-IPFT alliance.
"It appears, even after a sincere attempt to maintain peace and communal harmony, there is a constant instigation from vested quarter to break it and spread haterate among the common supporters of two both BJP and IPFT just to malign the government and top leaders of the parties.
The meeting will also discuss the issues and suggest steps for better coordination between party and government," the leader said.
