Respected Editor,

I would like to draw the people's attention to the fact that amidst crumbling infrastructure and political instability,  the Hornbill festival was marked with great success with visitors and organizers on a frenzy mode. Hornbill festival that began from December 1 was held for ten days and marks Nagaland's Statehood Day. It is the extravaganza annual festival that showcases the culture of the 16 tribes that calls the state home.

The festival has now put the state on a global map, attracting many tourists from far and wide. However, the realities of the state remain marred with rampant corruption and crumbling infrastructure leaving many locals dissatisfied with the inner realities of the same.

As election season nears, every party is batting for a so called change, but it has been years that the Nagas have seen any change for the good, but change for the worse has always been our forte. the only change we have seen is the change of CMs. We hope for a better state that focuses on priorities rather than pretense!

Yours faithfully,
