Music: Sambok Mawnai releases new single “Digital World”

SHILLONG:

An upcoming singer from Shillong, Sambok Mawnai has released his new song, ‘Digital World’ featuring Haggie Mawlong on December 4 on YouTube.

“I write whatever pops up in my head when I’m jamming with my guitar. This song was written five years ago when it wasn’t as digitally advanced as compared to now,” Mawnai said.

“I’d like to say the message is already in the song, so I don’t think we have to say too much now, but if there’s any clarification that anyone would like to have, then we can talk about it once we meet in person. We’re not sure about explaining ourselves digitally. Ironic right!! But it is what it is,” he said.

“I have recorded a few songs and will shoot another video by the end of this year. I will release another song, so yes, you can expect more,” he said on being asked if he would release more songs.
