Tripura | State records Rs 1788.50 cr loan under MUDRA to 4.29 lakh entrepreneurs

The effort of Tripura government to provide sustainable livelihood to the youth force has yielded a convincing result in last financial year that appeared to be a major success of BJP-IPFT government in the first year of its office.

According to report, Tripura government has compelled the nationalized banks to disburse Rs 1788.50 crore loan alone under Prime Minister MUDRA Yojana to over 4.29 lakh unemployed entrepreneurs, which was the highest in the state so far after statehood.

There are as many as six entrepreneurship development programs effectively implemented in Tripura in past one year that included Startup India, Stand up India, Prime Minister Kaushal Vikash Yojana, Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Scheme and Swavalamban besides,
MUDRA Yojana those benefited more than six lakh entrepreneurs in the state, the report claimed.
