Tripura Royal Scion stands beside little Laisa while she undergoes treatment at Guwahati Hospital

AGARTALA\GUWAHATI | July 26, 2019:

Tripura Royal Scion and Congress President, Pradyot Manikya Deb Barma on Friday met Laisa Debbarma, a 10-yr-old girl who has been struggling for years to get medical treatment for her eyes, at Guwahati Hospital.

As promised, the royal scion traveled to Guwahati Hospital today along with Ananta Debbarma and met little Laisa, to be by her side while she undergoes her eye- operation.

Earlier, Manikya had provided financial help to an organisation who started a movement for gathering funds for Laisa's treatment.

He had met Laisa few weeks ago while in Tripura, providing financial assistance and assuring to stand beside her while she is getting her treatment done.

While interacting with media, the TPCC president, said that according to the doctors' panel, the little girl's eye condition is serious and there is no immediate good news.

"I appeal to all my friends who are outside in cities to help me refer some good doctors," said Manikya.
