Tripura: Money looted at gun point from cash collector; miscreants untraced

Police is still not able to arrest the miscreants who looted money from a cash collector of Bandhan Bank network at gun point from 35 Mile area of Mungiakami police station under Khowai district on December 13.

As per a news report in the UNI, police informed that investigation has been progressing convincingly and the culprits would be booked soon.

According to police, a cash collector of Bandhan Bank, identified as Suman Debnath of Teliamura had visited the house of one Soma Debbarma of 35 Mile area in the afternoon to collect the cash from a group of women customers of the bank.

However, three miscreants wearing black masks raided the house with fire arms and shot a
blank bullet before the robbery.

Miscreants caught hold of the cash collector at gun point and looted the cash amounting to Rs 13,715.
