Tripura | Flight services in Agartala put on hold till May 31
AGARTALA | MAY 28, 2020:
In Tripura, the flight services which were to resume at the MBB Airport Agartala from May 25 have been put on hold until May 31 next due to cancellation of flights.
Sources from the MBB Airport informed that there is no significant lead about the flight resumption at MBB Airport till May 31 next as Air India and AirAsia is not likely to restart services till May 31.
While addressing a press conference here in the civil secretariat, the Education Minister Ratan Lal Nath said that the "Air India" and "Air Asia" flights would not resume flights till May 31.
He also informed that Indigo, the only Airlines that was ready to begin services, has also cancelled its flight.
According to Indigo authorities, the Agartala Airport does not get any slots yet to resume services.
