Tribal woman from Manipur abused in Delhi, called ‘corona’

IMPHAL | March 23, 2020:
In a bizarre incident, a tribal woman from Manipur was racially abused when she was on her way in Vijay Nagar area in North Delhi on Sunday.
The incident took place when a man, on a two-wheeler, came and racially abused the woman by allegedly calling her 'corona', and the man also spat 'gutkha' (tobacco) on the woman's t-shirt.
An FIR has been filed under section 509 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC).
