Sikkim: 20-yr-old girl stabbed to death by unknown miscreant at Geyzing area

GANGTOK | AUG 11, 2020:
A 20-year-old girl was stabbed to death by an unknown miscreant at Tikjek in Geyzing, West Sikkim on Monday.
According to sources, the young lady had gone to Geyzing Bazar to apply for admission to a college and on her way back home, she was attacked by the miscreant.
The girl was rushed to Geyzing hospital but succumbed to her injury on the way to the hospital and was declared brought dead.
The post mortem will be carried out at STNM hospital tomorrow, sources said.
Meanwhile, the Police have launched a massive manhunt around the Geyzing Tikjek area for the assailant.
