Road to nowhere: Phulbari – Dadenggre Road; NGOs demand immediate action

The Anti Corruption and Human Development Organization (ACHDO), Phulbari unit has sought the immediate repair of the Phulbari – Dadenggre road which according to them is in a terrible state.
"The road is very important for the people of Phulbari and West Garo Hills as it is used by many to transport goods between the people of the hills and people living in the plain areas. However due to the poor nature of the road, it has become a nightmare," said the president of the unit, Rassel Choudhary.
The NGO added that the situation was worse in the rainy season and the need for repair was immediate.
