Nagaland: State Deputy CM Y. Patton visits Lamhainamdi village

Few days after the newly established un-recognized Village Lamhainamdi under Peren District was attacked by some armed miscreants reportedly to be a land dispute matter the State Deputy Chief-Minister, Y. Patton visited Lamhainamdi Village under Peren District.

Earlier, on September 6 this year, six makeshift tent houses were burnt down and one church was partially damaged by unknown miscreants.

The Civil Societies comprising of ZBD, ZCN, LCN, RCN, Zeliangrong Students' Union & Lamhainamdi Village Chairman submitted a memorandum to Deputy Chief-Minister, Y. Patton with land related supportive documents.

During the visit, Dy. CM made an assurance that the Cabinet sub-committee will discuss the matter and will send for further spot verification. The Dy. CM was accompanied by DGP Nagaland, DIG-3, SP Peren, DC Peren, ADC Jalukie and some other officials.
