"We cannot allow NE region to be a dumping place of illegal immigrants so as a sign of resentment against CAB we are organising this Sit in protest along with all the NE states and also we want to appeal to the Union Govt of India to respect the sentiments and aspirations of the NE people and even if they want to introduce this CAB and make into a law the entire NE has to be exempted from the purview of CAB"he said.
