Nagaland: NSCN IM Kilonser Hukavi Yepthomi joins NNPG Working Committee

At a time when all the Nagas are holding their breath as the crucial Naga talks is still going on in the national capital, NSCN -IM Kilonser (minister), Hukavi Yepthomi has, on his own volition decided to join theWorking Committee of the Naga National Political Groups (NNPG) today.

His decision to leave the NSCN IM was in line with the popular belief of being practical in grasping the reality of the Naga situation and to acknowledge the desire of the people.

Hukavi Yepthomi has been with NSCN IM for more than a decade. His joining comes a day after the 3rd round of formal talks between IM and GoI on Thursday was inconclusive.

When contacted IM, they said his joining has no major setback to the group.
