Meghalaya’s very own Tanvi R Marak crowned Miss Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast 2019

SHILLONG | August 10, 2019:

Meghalaya's Tanvi Raksam Marak emerged as the winner of Miss Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast 2019 followed by Rajeswari Chakraborty from Sikkim and Langpoklakpam Melody from Manipur .

The glittering event was held at the ITA Cultural Complex in Machkhowa, Guwahati on August 9 organised by leading beauty pageant of Northeast India, Mega Entertainment.

In the event, Tanvi R Marak from Meghalaya was crowned by winner of Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast 2018, Mariam Longri while Langpoklakpam Melody was crowned by winner of last year Miss Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast, Jyotismita Baruah and Rajeswari Chakraborty was crowned by last year's winner Tsurila from Gangtok.

The contestants were chosen through a series of auditions and were judged on their beauty, intelligence. Altogether 50 women were shortlisted for the title of Sunsilk Mega Miss Northeast.

The event was supported by Sunsilk, Radisson Blu, Vodafone, Sony Alpha and Eyetex Dazller.
