Meghalaya: Youth Congress leaders in Nongstoin joins National People’s Party

Leaders of the youth Congress from Pyndengrei Primary Unit joined the National People’s Party (NPP) giving a boost to the party in Nongstoin.

Over 22 youths from Pyndengrei village were formally accepted by the MLA of Nongstoin, Macmillan Byrsat, who is also the President of NPP, Nongstoin Block.

Members of Youth Congress from Pyndengrei Primary Unit who joined the NPP include Bestarjohn Lyngkhoi, Youth Congress Secretary, Pyndengrei Primary Unit, Kynsaibor Kharbani, President, Youth Congress, Pyndengrei Primary Unit and other twenty members.

“The door of the NPP is always open and the party will always accept anyone who wants to join for development in Nongstoin,” Macmillan said,

Macmillan Byrsat hoped that the newly inducted members will work hand in hand to bring a change in the constituency and the district.

Kynsaibor Kharbani said that the hard work of the MLA and the progress of the developmental work in Nongstoin during the last three years taken up by the state government made him join the NPP.
