Meghalaya police issue look-out notice against KSU leader for assaulting cops

The Meghalaya Police has initiated a look-out notice against the absconding KSU president of Ri Bhoi district,
Ferdynald Kharkamni
for allegedly assaulting the head constable of Umiam Police Station.

The Ri-Bhoi police on October 21, had registered a case against the KSU leader for allegedly assaulting the head constable of Umiam Police Station, B. Bordoloi on October 15.

It may be mentioned that two videos of the KSU leader assaulting the cops inside the police station went viral on social media with concerned citizens seeking the immediate arrest of the accused.

On October 15 at around 2 am, the president of KSU Ri-Bhoi led a group of 25 to 30 boys and barged into the Umiam police station to demand the release of a local Khasi boy who was picked up by the police.
