SHILLONG | July 22, 2019:
Meghalaya still has to wait for more than three and half years to go for the 2023 Assembly polls but the battle in Pynthorumkhrah constituency between sitting BJP MLA and Health & Family Welfare Minister, Alexander Laloo Hek and sitting MDC of Mawkhar-Pynthorumkhrah, Pynshngaiñ N Syiem has already begun.
The sitting MLA slammed Pynshngaiñ for "trying" to take a political mileage of the flood which had hit a section of Pynthorumkhrah constituency in view of the incessant rain which had hit several parts of the State.
