Meghalaya: Another drug bust in Khliehriat, one held

KHLIEHRIAT | Sept 06, 2019:

In a joint operation by the ANTF – East Jaintia Hills. Khliehriat PS and Ladrymbai OP, approximately 90.38 gms heroin was recovered at Khliehriat here on Friday.

The consignment was recoevred from one person while he was travelling from Silchar, Jiribam to Shillong/Guwahati in a night super bus.

In this connection, a case has been registered and investigation is going on.

It may be mentioned that the ANTF-East Jaintia Hills, ANTF-East Khasi Hills and Khliehriat PS had on Thursday recovered approximately 76000 numbers of YaBA tablets commonly known as "World is Yours" tablets or "Madness Drug" weighing around 7.85 kg with estimated street value of Approx 1 crore at Khliehriat during a Joint operation.
