Coronavirus: Tripura Congress Prez demands lockdown, exams postponed

AGARTALA | March 21, 2020:

Tripura Pradesh Congress, President Pijush Kanti Biswas, on Saturday demanded to intensify the lockdown in the state in a bid to combat the spread of the deadly virus.

Pradesh Congress Committee (PCC), Chief, demanded to lock down the shopping malls and also to check the transportation in the state.

Addressing the press, Pijush stated that in such a stage of crisis it is quintessential to fight untimely and it is also essential to intensify lockdown in Tripura.

The Tripura Board of Secondary Education (TBSE) today announced that all forthcoming board exams have been postponed until March 31 because of coronavirus outbreak.

TBSE, Deputy Secretary, Bikramjit Debbarma said that the ongoing board exams for classes X and XII scheduled from March 23 to March 31 is postponed in the wake of coronavirus outbreak.

After proper reassessing of the situation fresh dates will be announced soon to the students.
