CM Neiphiu Rio urges people of Nagaland to observe Janta Curfew
KOHIMA | MARCH 21, 2020:
Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio urged the people of Nagaland to take part in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's clarion call to observe Janta Curfew tomorrow.
The minister tweeted;
I urge the people of #Nagaland to observe Honourable @PMOIndia's clarion call to observe #JanataCurfewMarch22. The #COVID19 outbreak needs all of humanity to come together to fight it. Let us be responsible and obedient and minimize the risk of infection by #SocialDistancingNow

Nagaland Government said that the Janta Curfew called tomorrow by Prime Minister Narendra Modi is voluntary and self-imposed and is not being enforced by the State Government.
However, State Government has appealed all citizens to show solidarity towards the call made by Prime Minister Modi and to voluntarily stay indoors during the period from 7 AM to 9 PM.
