Arunachal’s Namsai ranks 1st in Education amongst India’s aspirational districts
ITANAGAR | June 22, 2019:
In a matter of pride for the state of Arunachal Pradesh, Namsai District has secured 1st rank in Education amongst the Aspirational Districts in the country.
Congratulating the authorities concerned, Chief Minister Pema Khandu tweeted "I congratulate the Dist Admin & Officers of Education Dept whose tireless efforts have earned them this position."

As per the guidelines of this special initiative, Namsai district has become eligible for a one-time additional allocation of Rs 3 crore. This is in the nature of united allocation.

The District is required to prepare a plan of action in consultation with the state and Central Prabhari oficers and to send the same to NITI Aayog with their recommendations within a fortnight.
