3 militants belonging to banned outfit NLFT surrender in Tripura
AGARTALA | February 19, 2020:
In Tripura, three militants belonging to banned outfit of National Liberation Front of Tripura (NLFT), who are currently operating under a new group, yesterday surrendered with arms and ammunitions and other documents, before the Border Security Force (BSF).
The insurgents were identified as Sarnakumar Tripura (29) Jarmaram Tripura (27), both hails from Choto Shakbari village in South Tripura and Sudharam Reang (38) of Ashapara in North Tripura district.
They surrendered at Amritpara in Gomati district and laid down two .38 caliber pistols and 528 live rounds of .38 bullets.
It is to be mention that, the Tripura police had arrested three NLFT operatives from North and Dhalai districts in January this year.
