Location: Shillong/Guwahati

Function: Sales / Business Development

This role is for Sales Executive at The Northeast Today. This will involve complete ownership of the business in terms of generating sales and advertisement revenue from Advertisers & Media Agencies in the northeast for TNT.

Responsibilities:

● Keeping a track of media spends of potential advertisers and ensuring that TNT are on top of their consideration set

● Responsible for sales of ad inventory for TNT news portal including its social media platforms

● Responsible for getting sponsorship for TNT Events (Offline and Online)

● Responsible for maintaining weekly campaign status tracker and forecasting sheet

● Responsible for generating revenue and chasing the monthly, quarterly & annual targets assigned

● Work with the editorial and audio-visual team to devise customized solutions for potential advertisers from time to time

Requirements:

● Passion for internet products and strong communication skills

● Proficiency in MS-Excel and ability to think creatively

● Solution oriented and be able to withstand pressure

● High degree of self-motivation and maturity

Good to have:

● Media sales management experience working on internet products

● 1-5 years of experience in sales and marketing

● Cold Calling Experience
