IN PICTURES: Meghalaya CM visits patients injured during anti-CAA protest

Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma on Saturday, visited Civil hospital to check on the patients, who were injured during the recent agitation against Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). During his visit to the hospital, he also wished them for a speedy recovery.

After mobile internet services was restored in Meghalaya, ascribed to anti-CAA protest, the Chief Minister had tweeted in his official account regarding his visit to Civil Hospital, he tweeted;

"Visited patients injured during recent agitations in #Shillong. Wishing them a speedy recovery".

The Chief Minister had also visited Police Bazar, Shillong to oversee the festive market in the heart of the city.
