Governor designate RN Ravi arrives in Nagaland, accorded warm welcome

KOHIMA | July 31, 2019:

Interlocutor for the Naga peace talks, RN Ravi, who has been appointed as the Governor of Nagaland arrived today at Nagaland.

A welcome reception was organised at Raj Bhavan, Kohima for the Governor-designate of Nagaland and his family.

Chief Minister Neiphiu Rio, Dy.CM Y.Patton, DGP T.J Longkumer, Chief Secretary Temjem Toy and other legislators and dignitaries accorded a warm welcome to RN.Ravi and his family at Raj Bhavan.

General Salute was presented by the Nagaland Police upon his arrival.

Meghalaya CM cries while delivering eulogy for Dr Roy

Ravi will be taking oath as the 19th Governor of Nagaland on 1st August at Raj Bhavan, Kohima. Chief Justice (Acting) Guwahati High Court Arup Kumar Goswami will administer the oath.
