Anti-CAB protest in Meghalaya: Cars torched in PB, Jaiaw; police force intensified

SHILLONG | DEC 12, 2019:
Protest against citizenship amendment bill continue in Meghalaya. According to reports, a car was torched in Khyndai Lad, the main commercial hub in Shillong and markets in Khyndai Lad and Laitumkhrah have been down in view of the fluid situation.
Another vehicle was also torched in Jaiaw today.
Meanwhile, police and security forces have been intensified in Iewduh (Bara Bazaar) in view of the proposed rally.
