Nagaland: No case of coronavirus found in state, clarifies health official
KOHIMA | March 09:
Principal Director Health and Family Welfare Nagaland, Dr. Viizolie Z Suokhrie today clarified that no cases of COVID-19 (coronavirus) has been found in the state and dismissed all rumors being circulated on social media on detection of COVID-19.
Addressing media persons at Kohima today, Dr. Suokhrie said no suspects were detected so far as till now samples for testing are not sent from the state.
He said though COVID-19 is spreading fast, which is a concern; however, one can avoid the disease or any flu infection by maintaining personal hygiene.

He also said universal screening of all passengers arriving to Dimapur airport has started since 7 February. Till yesterday, 245 persons from the state with travel history to china and affected countries are on surveillance and five people are under home quarantine.
