Four fresh confirmed cases of coronavirus reported; total cases rises to 43

NEW DELHI | March 9:

Four fresh confirmed cases of Novel Corona virus have been found in the country taking a total number of confirmed cases in the country to 43.

Briefing media in New Delhi today, Special Secretary, Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Sanjeeva Kumar said, these four cases have been reported from Kerala, Delhi, Jammu and Uttar Pradesh.

He said, out of these four fresh cases, three had a travel history from Italy and one from Iran.

He expressed his concern over the non-divulgence of self declaration form and travel history by the passengers.

He urged the people to divulge their travel history to fight this situation in a more effective way.

Special Secretary also clarified that the patient from Murshidabad, West Bengal was tested negative for COVID-19 and no death has been reported due to corona virus in the country.
