Nagaland artists release new song addressing depression & bullying

KOHIMA | June 29, 2019:

Two artists from Nagaland have come up with a new song to address modern problems like depression and bullying.

A new song titled "Bullied" which is a collaboration between Ket and MC Menace has been making quite the buzz particularly among youths and the younger generation across the region.

Most listeners cited that it has helped them overcome the trauma and in looking forward to brighter things in life. The song interpret depressing thoughts as a result of bullying that can sometimes turn out destructive.

However as one listens along, relatable stories are portrayed which can gives one a sense of belonging and oneness. The hook tries to relate to the harsh experience of getting bullied and at the same time encouraging them to overcome the rough patch that they might be facing.

Ket, who is based in Kohima, also produced the music for the track. So far the feedback that has been garnered has remained positive and it is strongly recommended for anyone who have faced similar situation before or is just going through a hard time.
