Tripura Class 12 Results (TBSE)- Pass percentage recorded at 77.31 per cent

AGARTALA, June 7, 2017: The Tripura Board of Secondary Education conducted higher secondary examinations recorded 77.31% pass showing a slight increase in pass percentage as compared to the previous year. The pass percentage last year was 75.11%. Total 21143 candidates from Science, Commerce and Humanities appeared for the exam.

The TBSE announced results of Humanities and Commerce on Wednesday that recorded 76.21% pass and 73.27% pass respectively. The science result that saw 83.77% pass was declared last month to allow students  to appear for national-level entrance tests for higher education.

Last year, the Science stream recorded 81.41% pass with 74.04% in Humanities and 71.83% pass in Commerce.In Tripura Tribal Areas Autonomous District Council areas, the Higher Secondary pass percentage (64.24%) also increased as compared to 2016 where it was 58.47%. According to the TBSE, the  student pass percentage from Science stream is 44.93% followed by 64.79% from Humanities and 50% from Commerce stream this year. However, the pass percentage of TTAADC areas students is found to be comparatively low than the non-ADC  areas.
