Racism is a reality in India and the national capital, according to a survey, tops in racial discrimination against people from the Northeast.
Every year, around 20,000 students from the Northeast take admission in the prestigious Delhi University and face the ugly reality of racism in its premises. A video by Old Delhi Films show experiences of discrimination and racism by Northeast students of Delhi University.
"When all the laurels and achievements come, the country is ready to accept that, but they are not ready to accept the people," says one student. "If Northeast East is all about small eyes then India is all about small minds," says another student.
