Group F saw Hungary take on Portugal in what was a thrilling and sensational game with six goals in total. Three from each side. Hungary were the first to open the scoring in the 19th minute with a goal from Zoltan Gera. Nani then scored the equalizer in the 42nd minute. At the break of halftime, the score was 1-1. The second half only got better as Balaza Dzsydsak score Hungary's second goal but by the 50th minute, Cristiano Ronaldo broke his Euro goal scoring drought by scoring in the 50th minute. Balazs Dzsudzsak then scored his second in the 55th minute. Cristiano Ronaldo again equalized in the 62nd minute. The scoreline at the end of the match was 3-3 which put Hungary on top of the group and Portugal standing 3rd by advancing as the best four 3rd place teams will advance.
Iceland topped Group F with it's win over Austria. The first goal came in the 18th minute with Jon Dadi Bodvarsson of Iceland scoring the first goal. Alessandro Schopf then equalized in the 60th minute. Arnot Ingvi Traustason scored the winning goal in extra time which saw Icleand top the group.
Group E saw Italy take on Ireland. Italy who haven't lost a match in the tournament lost their first to Ireland with a lone goal from Robert Brady in the 85th minute. This was enough to ensure a win for the Irish side.
Sweden took on Belgium and lost 1-0 to the Red Devils. A smashing goal by Radja Nainggolan in the 84th minute secured all 3 points leaving the Belgium side second in Group E. Sweden are now out of the Euro tournament.
The round of 16 will begin on the 25th with Switzerland taking on Poland, Croatia taking on Portugal, Wales vs Northern Ireland, Hungary vs Belgium. On the 26th. Germany will take on Slovakia, Italy vs Spain, France vs Ireland and England take on Iceland.
