Meghalaya: NGT violations galore in Jaintia Hills as police detect three cases in three days

SHILLONG, July,21, 2017:  In a crackdown against trucks violating the NGT order, the state police detected three cases at Jaintia Hills in three days straight.

According to the police, three coal laden trucks were found violating the NGT order and were transporting coal in Jaintia Hills.

The truck (NL-01N-9277) which was transporting coal at Mookyndur in Wes Jaintia Hills which was driven by Boimi O Paia.

In another incident, the the police on Wednesday detected another coal laden truck (AS-01FC-0551) driven by Hamboy Lapasam (30) near Cement Market in East Jaintia Hills.

Further, the police on Tuesday detected one coal laden truck (ML-04C-0540) which was transporting at Khliehriat.
