Shillong, September, 04, 2017: The former members of the Pynursla Block Congress Committee (PBCC) Executive Committee are scheduled to meet on Tuesday to discuss on their future course of action following the sudden decision of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) to dissolve the Block Congress in the constituency.

He further said that it is surprising that the MPCC had appointed H Khongtani as the president, since he is not a member of the party.
When asked if they would consider of joining any other party, a former member of the PBCC said that they will decide tomorrow whether they would associate themselves with any other party.
"We would also have to discuss with the sitting local MLA, Prestone Tynsong before taking such a major decision," he added.
Earlier, Congress legislator, Prestone Tynsong said he was not consulted before the party dissolved the PBCC adding that he was told about this development by the Block Congress president, Emlinstone.
