Longest lunar eclipse in July 2018: Marks ‘END OF WORLD’ claims Pastor

"It is a sign of the end times. We are in the era of the apocalypse and this Blood Moon which will be the longest Blood Moon of this century is happening in the 70th year of the Israel being a nation.

"It's happening the same year also that Jerusalem has been declared the eternal city of God.

"And it's happening with the volcanoes already erupting in Hawaii and the smoke is erupting, all of the ash, the plumes, the volcanic rivers flowing – it's incredible how the Bible refers to these events taking place in the last days.

"As a matter of fact, Jesus said this in Luke 21:25: 'There shall be signs in the sun and the and then the moon and then the stars. And the stress of nations with perplexity. The sea, the waves roaring.

"'Mens' hearts will fail them for fear for looking after those things coming upon the earth for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

"'Then shall we see the son of man coming in a cloud of power and great glory.'

"When these things begin to come to pass Jesus said: 'Look up. Lift up your head. Your redemption draweth nigh.'"

Pastor Begley then pointed to another passage in the Bible, Joel 2:30-31, which talks of the sun turning to darkness the moon turning "into blood".

These Biblical passages supposedly signal the start of the end times, he claimed.

But Pastor Begley prophesied similar end of the world predictions during the January 31 Blood Moon and his predictions are yet to come to pass.

The conspiracy preacher addressed the last Blood Moon in his video, saying: "It was a very prophetic Blood Moon, because what happened?

"The US embassy did move to Jerusalem, Jerusalem did celebrate its 70th year and so yes, the Blue Blood Moon was prophetically bringing about the events of the end times.

"Also we know what's been happening in North Korea. See the Bible does talk about the nations being in perplexity, ok?"

The Pastor stressed the Blood Moon is indeed a sign of the end of the world coming.

However, most scientists will agree there is a perfectly simple and scientific explanation for the presence of the Blood Moon on both these two occasions.

On July 27, the moon will pass into the Earth's darkest shadow, or Umbra, and start the total lunar eclipse.

During the eclipse, bands of sunlight scattered around in the planet's atmosphere will filter out shorter wavelengths of colour on the visible spectrum.

Longer wavelengths like red will push through the atmosphere and paint the moon in an unusual hue.
