Tripura: Mamita Debbarma Crowned Femina Miss India Tripura 2018

Mamita Debbarma was crowned as Fbb Colors Femina Miss India Tripura 2018 during the West Bengal auditions of Femina Miss India 2018, which took place on March 18, 2018 in Kolkata. Mamita Debbarma succeeds Rinky Chakma as the new Femina Miss India Tripura and will now represent Tripura at Femina Miss India 2018, hoping to succeed Manushi Chhillar as the next Miss World India.

Last year three delegates from North East made it to semi-finals of Femina Miss India pageant, with Triveni Barman from Assam, Rody H Vanlalhriatpuii from Mizoram and Licha Thosum from Arunachal Pradesh being adjudged as Top 15 semi-finalists.

The 55th edition of Femina Miss India is all set to begin in the month of May. The contestants are hoping to fill in the big shoes of the reigning Miss World, Manushi Chhillar as the next representative of India at Miss World 2018. The grand finale of Femina Miss India 2018 is expected to take place in the month of June in Mumbai.
