Nagaland: Fake Puma sellers arrested in New Market, Dimapur

DIMAPUR, January 15, 2018: Police authorities of Dimapur succor by a representative of giant global fashion and lifestyle company Puma on January 12 arrested three men for selling fake Puma goods at the New Market in Dimapur.

In a press meet, Dimapur police stated that on Saturday a raid was conducted in some of the suspected garment/footwear shops at New Market and NL Road area' identified prior as to be selling fake Puma products.

Three sellers were arrested with seized items brought to east police station. A case has been registered under section u/s. 008/18 u/s 120 (B)/420 IPC R/W 63 Copy Right Act. Police revealed that the items that were seized from the local market with trade-mark of Puma were imported illegally from Myanmar.
