Pokémon GO to collaborate with Gucci & The North Face

 |

Pokémon GO is collaborating for new in-game clothing with The North Face and Gucci by Alessandro Michele.

Based on the collaboration, the Pokémon GO players are expected to see raiments and accessories that characterise constituents from the Pokémon franchise and channel The North Face and Gucci's outdoor camping styling.

News about the collaboration came out a week following a recent Pokémon GO event introduced by Galarian Mr Mime. The event took place from December 18-21 and players completed a sequence of tasks which led to an encounter with Galarian Mr Mime.

The players also had the chance to collect as much Mr Mime Candy as they could.

In December, there were several other characters introduced to the game such as Alolan Vulpix, Jigglypuff, Chimecho and Snorunt.

The North Face and Gucci collection, inspired by the 70s, includes outerwear such as puffer coats, quilted jackets, windbreakers, vests, shirts, skirts, and jumpsuits, for both women and men.

"It is a well-acknowledged notion that travel leads to self-discovery, and in this conviction, The North Face is aligned with Gucci, which similarly empowers people in their quest to celebrate and express their characters and personalities," stated in a press release accompanying the campaign visuals.

The awaited collection launched today, December 29, with a global launch scheduled for the first week of January.
