An Indian sports comedy-drama film "Chhalaang" which means "Jump" was recently released on November 13, 2020, on Amazon Prime Video.

The film is directed by Hansal Mehta who recently revealed why his new sports drama is a success.

"I think everybody loves a good underdog story. Everybody loves sports and an underdog story. I mean, who doesn't like an underdog fighting. Who doesn't love watching that? That is the reason my show 'Scam 1992: The Harshad Mehta Story' worked because it is an underdog story," Mehta said.

Chhalaang is produced by Ajay Devgan, Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg.

Mehta announced the film on August 10, 2018, with Rajkummar Rao and Nushrat Bharucha in the lead roles.

In 2019, Mohammed Zeeshan Ayyub joined the film to portray a supporting role.

The film was rated 6.6/10 on IMDB and was given a 75 per cent fresh rating on Rotten Tomatoes.
